Asked: Help with weightloss?
If you're going to lecture me in your response don't waste your time. I am well over 21, recognize the complications of my habits and am actively changing them.
Okay so this last year I struggled quite a bit with functioning alcoholism and because of it I gained 20 pounds. I am currently taking pragmatic steps to cutting back – I used to drink everynight but every new week I cut back one night. I am currently on four nights a week and doing well with this program.
I am not (nor have I ever been) a real athlete but next week I want to implement a daily work out program, Two weeks ago I completely rearranged my diet as well, eating 1,000-1,200 calories a day, most of it being fruits, vegetables, eggs, a lean meat like chicken and fish and drinking so much water it's not even funny. I am also taking prenatal vitamins. I know I prolly won't see drastic results until I'm down to 1-2 times a week of drinking but everyday I plan to go for a minimum of a two mile walk (at a faster pace), do 50 sit-ups, and perhaps dance to my music if I'm feeling up to it. How fast will I see results if I do this? Does anyone have any weight loss help tips?
With this regimen and my diet how fast will I see results? Does anyone have any tips?

Asked: Why do I lose weight when I’m sick compared to not being sick?
When I'm sick I typically don't have the appetite to eat. Recently I got really sick, throwing up, diarrhea, all that.
But I read that if I was to do that (throw up, or not eat to lose weight) while being healthy my body would go into hunger mode and slow down my metabolism.
What makes the difference? How did I lose weight so
quickly within my sick time frame?

Hello I'm a teenager (13-15), who is around 5'7 and in the 150-160 range. I'm trying to lose a good 15-25 pounds or so and am wondering what a good diet and workout plan would be for my age group. I am fairly athlete for my weight. I like working out but I find it difficult keeping to do it while I continue to eat healthy. If there any weekly diet plans and workout plans for a 13-15 year old my weight and height? I'm open to majority of foods and exercises but I'd just like a few options that I'm interested in to choose from. Thank you.

I lost a lot of weight for wrestling. I'm a 17 yr old junior in high school. I cut from 220 to 175 for wrestling. I tried to make 170 weight but failed. I was in amazing shape at 175. I cut the weight to fast probably. 45 pounds in 2 months. I mostly ran a lot and ate very little. Now 2 and a half months after wrestling I weigh 210 pounds. I can lose the weight again but how do I keep it off. By the way I'm not a fat 210 just at 175 I'm at my physical best. Also how do I not lose strength. As of now I bench 270 and squat 415 but in wrestling that was much lower do to low energy and muscle loss.

Every year is always the same. After I finish my fall and winter sports, I don't get much exercise. At all. I have a slow metabolism to begin with, and I've always been a little hefty and big-boned. I want this year to be different and to lose the fat that has already been sitting on my body and keep it off. (Dunno if it's important. I'm a 5' 10" white female, 150 pounds, 16 years old.) Here are my questions:
1. Do you know of any free (keyword is free) online websites that might provide some support to lose weight and fat and that suggests some healthier food options?
2. Do you know of any workouts or individual exercises (without machines and preferably without weights) that can get rid of and keep off fat on these main points: (Note: I don't want some crazy yoga techniques where I touch my ankles to my shoulders. My pudgy belly wouldn't allow that even if I were that flexible.)
-Groin area (I think that's what it's called.. The inside thigh place..)
-Lower belly (Dunno why but I can never get rid of that little sucker poking out of me. Probably a girl thing, but whatever, I want it gone.)
-Butt (Gluteus Maximus, whatever you want to call it.)
-Upper hips/lower back (That little area where muffin tops are born. I don't have any, but I'm a little flabby and would like to be tight around there.)
-Chin (I swear I'm getting a double-chin. Bleh.)
-Biceps/triceps (Not super important, but.. yeah.)
3. Perhaps you know of a weight loss/ fat reducing brand thingies you can get at Wal-Mart? I know, I know. They usually don't work or have side effects, but if one of them worked for you, let me know! (There's like the Sensa, the shaker thingies, or even those Slim Fasts or K something or other stuff.)
4. Maybe a list of foods to avoid? I love junk food.. It's really bad. I need help. Soda isn't a huge issue.
